Onboarding of Products
To onboard your products into the FastEditor product catalogue, it's necessary to provide the required product characteristics. For people with technical knowledge, the following JSON schemas provide all the properties that we need to know to get your products onboarded:
In case the technical knowledge to read and/or provide JSON schemas is missing, we can help you with the data transformation. In that case you can use the following Spreadsheet to provide the minimal required properties of the products:
Here's a short description of the properties in the spreadsheet (properties in bold are required):
SKU: Your unique identifier for the product
skuGroup: Allows grouping of similar SKUs. This allows for switching between different variations of the same product within the editor. If omitted, no grouping will be applied.
productName: The name of the product
productDescription: A description of the product in a longer text format
supplierName: Name of the supplier of the product
supplierReference: The SKU that the supplier uses to identify the product (in case you are the supplier, the value would be the same as the SKU property)
printMethod: What printing technique is used to print the logo on the product? Possible values:
- Debossing
- Digital printing
- Digital transfer
- Doming
- Embossing
- Embroidery
- Engraving
- Hotstamp
- Laser engraving
- Pad printing
- Screen printing
- Screen transfer
- Sublimation
productColor: What is the color of this product where the logo is printed on?
printPosition: Label to indicate the position on the product where the logo will be printed.
printColors: How many (PMS) colors are available for printing? Possible values:
- numbers 1 till 12
- full-color
size: For products like clothing that are available in multiple sizes, you can provide values like "M" or "XL". Keep empty if no size selector is required for the product.
outputWidthMM: Width of the PDF for the printer in mm
outputHeightMM: Height of the PDF for the printer in mm
outputDPI: DPI of the PDF for the printer in mm. If not provided, default value of 300 will be used.
editorImageURL: URL of the product image that should be used for the preview of the product in the editor
insertX: Horizontal pixel number where the user's design should be inserted into the editor image
insertY: Vertical pixel number where the user's design should be inserted into the editor image
insertWidth: Width in pixels of the area where the user's design should be displayed inside the product image
insertHeight: Height in pixels of the area where the user's design should be displayed inside the product image
insertAngle: In case the user's design should be shown at an angle in the product image, this property can be used
name_en: Translation of the product name in English
name_{{language code}}: Translations of the product name in the give language
